Take it from someone who's been married a long time. At the end of the day, all you have are your images and album to remember your wedding day by.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Think about it: you'll have hundreds of thousands of events entering and leaving your mind during your lifetime. After 15, 20, 30 years you're not going to remember what you ate, the songs that were played or many other aspects of your wedding day.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
By having a first look, you'll have more time to to capture the important moments and people in your life. You'll be able to take your bride/groom, bridal party and immediate family photos BEFORE the ceremony. That means you don't have to rush and it gives you the chance to have FUN. You'll have fun because you'll have TIME to make them FUN. That also means that as soon as your ceremony is finished, you can enjoy your cocktail hour and the party since you'll have all the important photos finished.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you don't have a first look, you're forced to quickly do your bride/groom photos, finish your bridal party and family photos all during cocktail hour. AND you're rushing the entire time!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

A great way to have the perfect reception is to make it fun😀Take this tree house cocktail hour at the Morris Arboretum for example, so cool!!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Surprise your guests with awesome favors. For instance, a tasty treat to take home, or even unexpected entertainment that will make their jaw drop! You can even go out with a literal bang by having fireworks end your reception. Whatever you choose to do, be sure to have fun and give your guests something they won’t get at every wedding. Something they can keep talking about and remembering!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Just like your ceremony, your wedding reception should reflect you and your fiancé’s personalities and your love for each other. Don’t be afraid to have a little fun and think outside the box to create an event that’s truly memorable!

Biggest tips for outdoor weddings: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Having a backup indoor plan for your outdoor wedding is a smart choice, but make sure it’s a plan that makes you happy. Of course, your dream ceremony will take place outdoors, but if you don’t have things you love about your backup plan, you’re headed for huge disappointment if the weather turns bad. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Make sure to thoughtfully incorporate fun details into your Plan B so that your wedding day will be a blast no matter whether it’s inside or outside.

While all your wedding photos are important, the Bride/Groom portraits are especially meaningful. These images are your first photos as a new family and will decorate your home for years or even decades.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
That’s why the right poses—along with details like exposure and lighting—are so essential for your wedding photographer to get right. A professional photographer will know how to pose you, create a relaxed atmosphere that will lead to natural, candid moments and how to compose each image so you'll have a collection of images that you'll love.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
While every couple is different, there are some classic poses that can be adjusted and adapted to create stunning images of you and your partner.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Did you recently get engaged this past year? Are you planning a 2021 wedding? With the pandemic, it is hard to see what the future holds for you and your new fiancé.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
My biggest tip for you is to consider getting wedding insurance. A type of event insurance that can help protect your investment due to events beyond your control, like extreme weather or a global pandemic. That way, if you do end up having to postpone or cancel your wedding, at least you won’t lose all the money you’ve invested into deposits.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The most important thing you can do when considering backup plans due to the coronavirus is avoid panicking. With the proper precautions and careful thought, you can make a safe and healthy decision for your big day that will benefit both you and your partner, as well as all your guests.
