The sky was ominous and the rains eventually came down with a vengeance during Amanda and Anthony's Pen Ryn Estate Wedding. Thankfully that was the only bad part of the day and this Bride and Groom treated it as a little bump in the road!
This wedding was a huge amount of fun and I can't thank Amanda and Anthony enough for not losing their cool and staying focused on their love for each other and celebrating with their family and friends...well done guys!!
Here are some of my favorites from their wedding day:
Our original plan was to go to Eastern State Penitentiary for the first look and images with Amanda and Anthony. I was super stoked about going there to shoot but unfortunately the only times available to us were outside of what was going to work for our timeline, ugh!!
Thankfully, Amanda suggested another prison building that had a cool vibe and was close to the venue and getting ready locations. So to Holmesburg Prison we went!
I loved the huge stone walls that surround the prison and the cool green door at one end that popped out of the stone. Then only thing better would've been if we could have gone inside...the textures and light are amazing!

The staff at the Pen Ryn Estate did a fantastic job of turning the recepetion room into the ceremony space in very little time. Although everyone was disappointed about the rain and not having the ceremony outside, the ceremony was simple and beautiful.

The reception was full of energy, fun, tears and wonderful stories about Amanda and Anthony. We finished the day with a trip out into the driving rain for a night shot that featured a killer fireworks display!
