University City & 30th Street Station

Location Information

Built between 1929 and 1933, 30th Street Station was designed with a neoclassical exterior and Art Deco details within. The main concourse’s 95-foot tall ceilings and incredible ornamentation are no doubt the most striking features of the train station. The main concourse (aka the waiting room) stretches the length of two football fields. This is a wonderful building if you love the railroad or the railroad is a part of your story and a solid “Plan B” in case of rain.

"Ralph's ability to make his clients feel like they are #1 at all times is phenomenal! His work speaks for itself, but it is what he does in addition to the pictures that makes the difference. Him and his team went far beyond our expectations and were able to capture not only pictures, but a story of our lives. We would recommend Ralph Deal Photography to anyone who wants an exceptional and personalized experience!"
