FAQ’s

What’s your style? – As a photographer, I capture beauty, raw emotion, once in a lifetime moments, and tell stories. This is my style and my goal every time I pick up the camera.

My freedom and creativity shine because I am privileged to work beside reliable, creative and awesome second shooters. We combine our passion and talents to tell your story the best way we know how — photographing in an unobtrusive manner yet capturing every moment, scripted or not.

We strive to perfectly blend many disciplines of photography to document all the elements of your day, from memorable moments to bride and groom portraits; from candid guest reactions to snapshots of crazy dance moves; from editorial fashion to food photography, we cover it all.

Our enthusiasm, creativity and combined knowledge of the craft finds the magic that exists between you and the most important people in your life. And we’ll capture it for you forever.

How do I create a timeline for my wedding day? – Creating a timeline is extremely important and is something I will assist you with. 10 hours of shooting time may seem long on paper but keep in mind that 1)Most weddings run slightly behind schedule, 2) The day will absolutely fly by, 3) your wedding may be taking place after daylight savings time and the sun would be setting early, 4) Travel time between the ceremony, reception and photo locations may take more time due to traffic or public events and 5)many other considerations!

A week or so before your wedding, together we will assemble a detailed schedule that will help keep us on time and prevent a lot of stress and aggravation.

How many images will we receive? – I emphasize quality over quantity when telling your story. I’d rather give you a few hundred “holy s&#t, these are awesome!!” images than give you 1,500 mediocre images. On average you can expect between 500-750 images, depending on the length of your celebration.

When will we see our images? – Your album design consultation and gallery reveal will take place 2-3 weeks after your wedding. After the consultation, your private password protected gallery will be available for viewing. The high resolution images included with every Collection will be delivered on a USB drive along with your album approximately 4 weeks after the order has been submitted.

What should we wear for our engagement shoot? – I generally tell my clients the following:
-Be yourself and be comfortable. Make sure your outfit is easy to move around in and fits you well.
-No white (save that for your wedding day:))
-Go with color….bright hues that will pop in the photo but that compliment each other.
-Don’t coordinate.
-Consider an outfit change to switch things up.
-Dress on the same scale to make it look like you are both going to the same place.
-If one of you wears a printed top, balance it out by the other wearing something solid.
-Throw a fun accessory or prop into the mix.

Bottom line is that there aren’t any rules! You need to feel good about the way you look because if you do, it’ll come out in the photos!
